  8. The little New York missy 'KAT', presenting herself as 'the great KAT: fastest
  9. guitarplayer in the world', starts her carreer playing the violin. She plays it
  10. for over six years and gets decorations for it and plays solo in the U.S.,
  11. England and Mexico. When she sees a Judas Priest video, she decides she likes
  12. metal and in 1986 she founds the band KAT with bassplayer Peter Sabla and
  13. drummer Mastando. In the same year they release a 3-track single and get a
  14. contract with Roadrunner. End of '87 the album "Worship me or Die" is released,
  15. with a new line up: Tom van Doom on bass, and Adam Killa on drums. In contrast
  16. to her swank, her music is louzy. She is indeed fast, but that's all. No real
  17. compositions and this debut gets it easy to the 'worst record of 1987'.
  18. Nevertheless, The Great KAT gets all kind of media attention with her big mouth
  19. and in 1988 she starts recording her second album..
